In this program, we cover the essential theoretical knowledge required for your career as a certified personal trainer. This course is offered by the Swedish Academy of Sport Training (SAST). Certificate Title:

Basic Fitness Training

Eligibility:

Anyone with the desire and ambition to enter the field of personal training and fitness (no prior experience required).

What You Will Learn:

  1. The concept of sports training
  2. Motor coordination
  3. Cardiovascular system
  4. Sports nutrition

Duration of Study

The course includes 20 training hours, which must be completed within a maximum period of three months from the date of registration.

Eligibility

This course is designed for anyone interested in entering the field of sports nutrition and understanding its scientific and practical fundamentals.
No prior experience is required.
It is ideal for beginners, coaches, and fitness or health enthusiasts alike.

Course Topics

By the end of the course, the student will have learned the key fundamental concepts in sports nutrition, including:

  • Carbohydrates: The main source of energy.
  • Protein: Its essential role in muscle building.
  • Dietary fats: Their importance for body functions.
  • Vitamins and minerals: Their role in athletic performance.
  • Fluids and water: Maintaining body balance and optimal performance.

Study System

The course is conducted entirely online through SAST’s advanced e-learning platform — one of the most developed platforms in the Arab region, competing with leading European universities and institutes in e-learning quality.
Students can register and begin studying anytime, from anywhere in the world (24/7).
The course offers complete flexibility, allowing learners to progress at their own pace and convenience.
It moves away from traditional learning methods, focusing instead on creativity, analytical thinking, and practical application to improve sports performance.

Examination and Grading System

Chapter Quizzes:

  • A mandatory quiz for each chapter of the theoretical content.
  • Each quiz includes up to 10 multiple-choice questions.
  • Quiz duration: 1 minute per question.
  • Passing score: 80%.
  • Students may retake the quizzes an unlimited number of times.
  • Students cannot access the final exam until all chapter quizzes are successfully completed.

Final Exam:

  • Available after completing all chapter quizzes.
  • Contains 30 multiple-choice questions.
  • Exam duration: 30 minutes.
  • Passing score: 60%.
  • Each student is allowed two attempts for the final exam.

Graduation Certificate

Upon successful completion of the course and all exams, the student will receive an official digital certificate of completion, sent directly to their email and stored in their personal account on the academy’s platform.
The certificate is officially accredited and verified by:

  1. Swedish Academy of Sport Training (SAST)
  2. Global Council of Sport Science (GCSS)
  3. International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education (ICSSPE)
